Fabulous holidays in comfy cottages
Stoffi’s Hütten consists of 5 family-run cottages, which are situated right beneath each other. We are located in Tauplitz in the district Hollam-Greith. A special hightlight is definitely the spectacular view of the majestic mountain Grimming.
This district is in close proximity to the slope of the Tauplitzalm skifield. Therefore you can reach the hutts directly by skis after your day up in the mountains. It is simply a small ride across some greenfields. Also the station at the bottom of the Tauplitzalm ski lift is reached via a greenfield and a short 2 minute walk. Therefore no car is necessary to access the skifield. The entrance to the crosscountry-skiing slope is also situated in only about 100m walking distance.
In summer the cottages are the ideal starting point for various hikes in and around Tauplitz or plenty of fun activities. The tennis courts, a beachvolleyball court or a public swimming pool is within short walking distance.
All our cottages have a comfortable, sunny terrace enclosed that is perfect for relaxing in the sun or having a delicious barbeque. Due to the open fields around the hutts, children have plenty of space to play. Also dogs – which we consider family members – are always welcome here.
In Tauplitz you can also find a small grocery store, a bakery, a bank, a tourist information office, a sports store, a club, a bar next to the slope (winter) and various restaurants.

Self-serving holiday homes
All of our five hutts are self-service. In the generous open living-kitchen area you will find everything you need to cook for you and your loved ones. In case you want to treat yourself to dining-out, our small restaurant “Zum Troadkast’l” is situated right above the cottages. There we offer regional specialities and are delighted to make your stay even better.
About the region
Stoffi’s Hütten is situated in the region Ausseerland Salzkammergut. It is considered as one of the most beautiful places in Austria. Artists, novellists and authors also cherished the region in former times and used its beauty for nurturing their creativity or calming down.
Therefore you can find a broad choice of cultural events, sports and culinary specials in every season. A special hightlight in spring is the Narzissenfest where gorgeous figurines are created out of thousands of narcissus flowers and presented.
The landscape is characterized by stunning mountains, lofts of green meadows and woods and marvellous lakes that are perfect for a relaxed swimming day. Closeby you can also find Spechtensee, which is one of the last remaining hill moor lakes.
